SQUIRRELS AND B-METS POSTPONED ON TUESDAY

RICHMOND, VA – Due to persistent heavy rain showers throughout the day on Tuesday that rendered the grounds of The Diamond unplayable, the Richmond Flying Squirrels scheduled game with the Binghamton Mets has been postponed.  The game will made up as part of a doubleheader at The Diamond on Wednesday (6/19) night.  The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning ballgames and will begin with first pitch of game one at 5:05 p.m.  Ballpark gates will open for the doubleheader on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
